Catch the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sports Show’s Fastest Retriever contest on the Chevy Dealers Main Stage every day of the show, March 8-12! Watch family dogs of all sizes and breeds compete for the fastest time; the two dogs with the fastest scores within their heat from each day will move on to the Championship race on Sunday, March 12th.
Can’t get enough of these cute dogs? The Chevy Dealers Main Stage will also feature the Donnybrook Kennel Retrievers and the Milwaukee Dog Training Club every day of the show.

Always a fan favorite, the IRON JACKS Timber Team lumberjacks are back again on the Chevy Dealers Main Stage. Cheer on the timber athletes as they use brute strength to compete head to head in chopping, sawing, speed climbing, and log rolling. They’ll be performing the same act as in the past but new to this years’ show, the lumberjacks will wow the crowd with a good old fashioned chainsaw competition!
Also on the Chevy Dealers Main Stage, don’t miss the agility and skill of the Donnybrook Kennel Retrievers and the Milwaukee Dog Training Club.

Learn from the outdoor experts like Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Wisconsin Trails journalist Chelsey Lewis, and Outdoors editor Paul Smith. Chelsey, along with an outdoors expert from REI, will give a seminar on learning the basics of backpacking from how to prepare for your trip, the proper gear to bring, and great spots to go in Wisconsin and beyond. Paul will give a seminar on the “past, present and future of Lake Michigan Fishery.”
Learn from other outdoor experts like Dan Small of Outdoor Wisconsin who will give a behind-the-scenes look with Outdoor Wisconsin, and Mariah Haberman of Discover Wisconsin who will show you the “10 absolutely gorgeous places to discover in Wisconsin.”
At this years’ show, we’re building a lake right inside the Wisconsin Exposition Center. This lake is 4,000 square feet with 100,000 gallons of water. Watch live fishing and boating demonstrations each day of the show, March 8-12. Angling experts will cast a few lines and show goers, both adults and kids, will get the opportunity to participate at times as well.
