Find it all at State Fair Park for the 82nd year of the Sports Show. Everything outdoors will be celebrated indoors for four days, and there will be something for all ages. There will be a kids pavilion, fishing tips at a 5,000-gallon aquarium, a trophy deer contest, a fastest retriever contest, archery tournament and traditional favorites like the huge Trout Pond and Lumberjack Show. And don’t forget the more than 100 vendors showcasing the best they have to offer. There’s so much to explore, you just might want to attend more than one day!

Eva Shockey
Co-Host of Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures
Appearing at the show Saturday, March 11 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 12 at 1 p.m. on the Lumberjack Stage.
Eva Shockey is a multi-talented personality who is a wife, mother, author, lifestyle blogger, and passionate advocate for all things outdoors. Born into the outdoor industry as the daughter of professional hunter and television producer Jim Shockey, she has continued to pursue her love for hunting and the outdoors while successfully balancing her family life and her lifestyle brand, Eva & Co Marketplace. Her message is centered on promoting a healthy, family-focused outdoor lifestyle.

John Crews
Two-Time Bassmaster Champion
Appearing at the show Saturday, March 11 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 12 at 1 p.m. on the Hawg Trough Stage.
John Crews is an American professional bass fisherman and businessman. He has been a competitive angler for over 20 years, participating in major tournaments such as the Bassmaster Classic and FLW Tour. He is also the owner of Missile Baits, a company that produces fishing lures and accessories. Throughout his career, Crews has become known for his expertise and dedication to the sport of fishing, and has won several titles and awards. He is also an active supporter of various fishing-related organizations and conservation efforts.
Fastest Retriever Contest
A perennial favorite activity at the Sports Show with $400 in cash prizes this year! You must register your retriever in advance. One dozen retrievers will be selected from all registrants to compete in each qualifier – one on Thursday, one on Friday and three on Saturday, with the top 2 retrievers from each qualifier competing in the finals on Sunday. Thanks to Donneybrook Kennel for running the contest.

Archery Tournament
Back by popular demand is the archery contest being held by West Town Archery. The contest (this one IS for humans) will pit the best archers against each other in eight different categories. Kids and adults can compete, as well as teams, and more than $10,000 in prize money will be handed out this year. It’s like watching an Olympic event right at the show!
Participants must pre-register for the youth, adult, bowhunter and target shooting events. All participants will receive show admission with their paid registration! Register to participate here.

WBBC Trophy Deer Contest
Attendees are invited to bring in their own trophy deer for the Wisconsin Buck & Bear Club Trophy Deer Contest. There is a fee to participate but think of all the glory you’ll receive! All entries will be displayed for the public. Just bring your trophy deer to the show and sign up at Wisconsin Buck & Bear Club’s booth. Guests enter the show free with a trophy deer to enter in the contest. Entry Fee for Contest: $20

Air Rifle Tournament
Take your best shot and compete for your share of $1250 in cash prizes at the air rifle competition at the 2023 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sports Show. The top 3 youth and top 3 adult shooters each day will advance to the finals on Sunday (with free return admission, excludes parking).
Cash Prizes
Youth: $500 1st Place, $250 2nd Place, $150 3rd Place
Adult: $200 1st Place, $100 2nd Place, $50 3rd Place
